I’m Hosna, a Master of Mathematics (MMath) student in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo.
I am honored to be supervised by Prof. Jimmy Lin and Dr. Amirhossein Karimi, working on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Information Retrieval (IR), and the trustworthiness and fairness of machine learning systems.

Before that, I was a research assistant at Sharif University of Technology in the RIML (Robust and Interpretable Machine Learning) group, supervised by Dr. Mohammad Hossein Rohban. I also interned at EPFL, where I had the privilege of working with Prof. Amir Zamir.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic).

Outside of research, I enjoy painting, nature walks, and wood carving!
